What is the Golden Spike Project?

Far too often, elected leaders become stagnant and divisive, choosing to focus on wedge issues instead of representing their constituents and implementing real solutions to the real problems they face in their everyday lives. But running for office presents unique challenges--challenges that are, unfortunately, often designed to discourage people from standing for change.

That's where the Golden Spike Project comes in.

The Golden Spike Project, an initiative of the Libertarian Policy Institute, was started in 2020 with a single goal in mind: empower individuals to stand for change and champion those real solutions themselves. We understand that the people who live these struggles understand them best. We don't rely on career politicians, and we don't want you to either.

You understand your community. We understand campaigns.

We don't expect you to be an expert on election law or campaign finance just so you can solve the problems your community faces. You bring the solutions and we'll arm you with the knowledge you need to make them a reality.
